Power Of Play Therapy
Did you know that the act of playing, can release chemicals into our brains that makes us happy and calm?
Play Therapy uses the Power of Play to bring about healing and transformation. Building a relationship with the therapist through play, is more accessible for children than through talking therapies as play is the language of children.
POP was started in 2019 in order to provide play therapy services to families living in Buckinghamshire.
POP therapy is for children aged between 3 to 18 years of age and each session is overseen by a qualified Play Therapist at Aylesbury Vineyard Church or within school where this is possible.

We held our first Christmas Tree Festival in 2023.
This was a great success as over 200 people came to visit our festival and Father Christmas.
This year we are opening our doors over the two days of November 29th and 30th from 10.00 am until 6.00 pm.
From 7.00 pm on November the 29th, we will be running some seasonal workshops for adults.
The festival raises awareness of this therapy, as well as raising funds for the scheme itself.

We are also seeking sponsors of a tree, real or artificial to create a forest of trees inside Aylesbury Vineyard.
